  I have a different perspective on birthdays. having become a witness in my 30's. I had the unlucky situation of having a birthday around christmas so in my life my birthday often got sucked up into the christmas festivities. my mother was poor so I got one present for both occasions people were never available to celebrate with me because of the holiday. so when I became a witness I thought it never was a big deal to me anyway

  however I do agree that its a ridiculous rule and really makes no sense

  Is it unacceptable to stand up for Jehovah's Witnesses on a site called Jehovah's-Witness.net?

  i fail to see why people such as alice in wonderland, bane and others, are regularly singled out as tolls.

  demands are repeatedly made that they are shunned and thrown off the forum; while people like perry, who rant on with pages of controversial drivel, are considered acceptable?.

  i personaly don't view any of them as trolls, just people who feel a need to stand up for what they believe.

  generally a site has a certain mindset if you go against it you probably get some negative response if you went to a pro jw site and started being controversial people would be upset. It's just the nature of the beast so they say.

  the wtbs has ordered its followers away from sites like this at the risk of punishment so I don't know why a true believer would take that risk.

  this is a free thought site and the old saying is true "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen"

  NEW PUPPY - names?

  well we are getting a new pup and i'm not set on a name yet.

  it is a sweet baby girl cairn terrier (like toto).

  she is wheaten, which is a blonde color.. she will be coming home to big brother jinx (meaning magic charm or spell), who is a red brindle color.. i have thought of many names but can't decide.. i really like gypsy (goes well with jinx), but don't like it for such a blonde pup.

  It's My Birthday

  51 years old, born into the lies, been out of the jws for almost 8 years, but still never had a birthday party (birthday virgin) lol.

  24th july is the day, anyways i was born in new zealand & as they have just entered the 24th i guess it's now my birthday.. where the hell have the years gone especially the last 10?.
